Julie Park was born in Seoul and educated in Los Angeles. She studied at Otis/Parsons Design College, graduating in 1990.
1990-1994
Works as a freelance graphic designer.
1995-1998
Launches a mailorder lingerie company Echo The Line with a friend and starts her first fashion venture.
1998-2001
Opens a clothing company Miah Y. focusing on woman's shirtings and builds experience in the fashion business.
2004-2009
Launches Parkvogel a t-shirt line that quickly grew into a collection of knitwears, dresses and
pants.
2010
Launches her namesake collection Julie Park, women's ready-to-wear line.
The Julie Park collection is a playful mixture of structure, fabrics and texture. It is tailored for the modern working woman. Somewhat borrowed from a man's wardrobe but with a hint of sensuality, it embodies laid back sophistication.
A range of luxurious separates include ultra-soft cashmere sweaters, sophisticated yet easy dresses and cotton essentials. Undeniably chic, these pieces are a culmination of Julie's many influences - ranging from Korean fashion trends and her background in visual arts to her busy life as a working mom.
Julie works in Los Angeles where she lives with her husband and her daughter.
